J.L. Gonzalez Produce, Inc. (JLGP) opened in 1993 in Chicago’s famed South Water Market. Today, our location boasts state-of-the-art commercial refrigeration, freezers, and ripening rooms.

We maintain on-site ripening rooms where unprocessed fruit can be treated until it reaches the correct color and texture for your displays. We provide on-site facilities for USDA inspectors to check our products daily in compliance with strict HACCP safety standards.
