J.L. Gonzalez Produce, Inc. (JLGP) opened in 1993 in Chicago’s famed South Water Market. Originally operated from a small basement facility, rapid growth and a reputation for quality led the company, in 2002, to become the only Mexican-owned founding member of the Chicago International Produce Market (CIPM) and the first to begin operations. Today, our location boasts state-of-the-art commercial refrigeration, freezers, and ripening rooms. Operating the largest facility in the CIPM, J.L. Gonzalez Produce continues to provide quality products at reasonable prices.
